Seller is claiming these games were purchased by Magnavox for the purpose of proving that Nintendo violated their patents. Some of the games no doubt would be pricey on their own, but to be linked to this piece of history is quite interesting. Though the decision on this lawsuit was in 1987, not 1985.

The seller is David Winter who is also selling part of his collection here (complete list here - in French). He helped Ralph Baer to write his biography.
