Speaking of the game itself, it looks like an enhanced Pengo clone, besides the Bomberman-esque additions.

EDIT:
(Sorry for the off-topic) =|

I took the server logs and looked at the ip addresses that had downloaded a specific image that i still have linked on assembler's site. Then i ran windiff against the log files for my logo image. There was only a 27% variance in the ip addresses. So 73% of the people who read assemblergames.com have also read gamerhistory.com.

All that you've proven is that these people went to your site at least once.

Dot50, I've got no problem with you personally. You're a damned good contributor, and you're welcome here always, so don't take any of this to heart.

Seems to me there's a lot of personal bias and hatred in this thread that has very little to do with the topic at hand, so I would appreciate anything not having to do with this fella selling bootleg merchandise be left out of this discussion.

Yakumo, let us know when you've come up with an excuse for covering up the auction, I know I'm dying to hear it. Otherwise, fuck you. I've got no problems with weasels finding a way to make money illegitimately, but I have real big problems with giving fuel to the fire that is private owners wanting to keep history to themselves.

You're giving all sorts of legitimate excuses here for people hoarding things for themselves, watermarking otherwise unobtainable assets, and doing all sorts of stupid shit that makes the charitable work folk like myself do even harder than it already is. I hope the 5,000 yen is worth it.

Auctions dead now. Segafreak is getting copies of the emails between Yakumo and the third party, so you header junkies will be at work I suppose.

TRE, Thanks, I didnt really take your stuff too seriously (avatar and all) but its just the recent influx of people was a bit much.

But why? It's legit, remember? It might even have a different version number, we're all waiting to hear back.

Yakumo sent the guy a rar of the original release by Segafreak, and apparently the version numbers are the same but he (the third party) mentions that they arent the same builds. I guess the released one crashes at a certain point in the game regularly but the one that was on YJ doesnt. Take it for what you will.

All right, well, whatever. This whole thing still smells like shit to me, but I'm not ready to make any judgement calls without knowing everything.

I'd like to point out something, which I found very funny. Yakumo said this:
Quote:
1. I'm not a GAMES ARE MY LIFE nut ! I'm a very busy man with little to no free time

Even though he has a huge collection of videogames, made a site about his collection, makes videos out of his games, runs an online videogame store (!), and is a moderator on a videogame site (from where he "never logs out", according to his profile). Remember, all of this, in his free time too!

And in the next damned sentence, he asks

Also how do I contradict myself?

I believe I asked that discussion remain about whether or not bootleg sales are going on. Please point out character flaws and other bullshit elsewhere.

Sure, sure, I didn't notice your post about that (and I've been laughing since a half day on that ingenious quote).

I'll ask segafreak tomorrow if he -actually- got any pms.

It was legit but as was posted in to mods on the ASSEMbler forum the original seller knows all about the Sonic Xtreme fiasco and know s what a bunch of shit stirring twats some of the members here are! The disc sold privately anyway and I got my commission so who's got the smug grin now? That's why the auction was pulled. a BIG thank you to all the commotion you guys set up! Thanks to you the disc was sold privately allowing use to skip the Yahoo auction fees. Thank you so much LMAO !

As for your information, the disc was labelled with the same version number as Segafreak_NL's copy but this one didn't crash or freeze after the story screen unlike Segafreak_NL's copy. That is good enough for me to say that it's NOT the same image that Segafreak_NL's version came from.

Now a word of advice from people in the real world. Next time you decide to run high and mighty like a bunch of soft kids, ask nicely for some credible information and you might just find out what you are looking for.

Yakumo

Listen fuckwit! Do you know how much time I spend playing games a week? 5 hours tops if lucky ! The stuff on my site is done in a few hours each month. Posts on assembler are done while I'm working on my PC (Graphic design if you must know) so posting on ASSEMbler while I'm waiting for something to compile is not such a big deal. Also learn what sarcasm is! That's why is says Never logs out ! I've been there for years !

You really are some sort of freak! I bet all this shit stirring gives you some sort of thrill. Do yourself a favour and get laid or something you sad excuse for a man (if you are one)

I understand that you're feeling maybe vindicated or jubilant in those posts of yours above, but if you ARE going to be coming back here and posting, try not to sound like a thirteen year old that just pulled off some world-shaking snaps. Attitude just makes you sound like a child, and I'm sure that's not how you want to come off.

Honestly speaking, his last post was the epitome of flaming ugliness that makes me ill. I think you have a good deal of patience, Kap.
I'd have booted him off my forum.

This is the first time I write something about all this hate that spreads from a forum to another (hey, it's like Nation vs Nation!)

Usualy everything starts with something wanted and someone who points out stuff without any kind of investigation.
It always look like a whitch hunt.

All this is sooo sad.
It should be 1 community, divided into forums. All with one passion, but then...rants, flames and so on.

It all feels so stupid looking from the outside!

Usually when someone from a forum makes something wrong, it's his fault. Why attacking the whole forum?
I can't understand.

It should be a passion, an hobby enjoyed by a community, showing off, leaking and so on.

I think I'm lucky enough to consider everyone a friend, from Red Eye to ASSEMbler itself.
I hope to continue to live in my world, where informations are free for all and everybody moves in just one direction.

I'm not saying that it's someone's fault. I just say that all this hate is ridiculous. From every side.

I don't want to bring the topic OT. Excuse me.
