I don't really remember, but there may have been a redump of the ROM that let you get through the "loop" before you could even get to the end. I may be thinking of another game here, though.
This was only a title screen hack. All (both?) of the hacks I did were just title screen hacks, since those games had next to no text that I knew of. I had actually started on Egypt and Photon, both of which were more involved, but other people jumped on those games and I stopped messing around with games. The End.
Here's my best shot at Super Star Force. It's a very literal translation with some sections rewritten to what I think is the "intent" of what is being said.
Screen one wrote:
I am Norm, a time travelling witness. Gordis is a monster who manipulates time and space. Four warriors, Aramuna, Dorera, Birakocha, and Aonesu were able to join forces and entrap him. However, one day in a dazzling light, Gordis was resurrected and twisted space and time, tearing up earth in the process. This is where the history of time and space begins. Near the floating pieces of earth, the dark spirit Gordis returned to continue his slaughter. I intend to help you defeat (the source?) Gordis.
Norm is a passive aggressive dick:
Screen two (Uh-oh ending) wrote:
However, there is a secret to completely defeating Gordis. You destroyed (or should have destroyed?) Gordis' seal. Gordis will rise once again and end history. This history will continue for eternity. However, there is no need to say this history is grave. Goodbye, brave hero. See you again.
I am Norm, a time traveling witness.

Screen Three wrote:
Through the seven sacraments of time, Gordis has entered an eternal slumber. The earth continues to prosper and Gordis has dissapeared from people's memory. (these last two sentences were a doozy) However, if the Dark Spirit Gordis does return to earth, who can defeat him? The people's speculation lies hidden, the evil heart's incarnation (is probably so).

I think it's actually saying "but Gordis might return through the evil that lurks in the hearts of men" or some such thing.
So does any of this make sense to anyone who's actually familiar with the game?

in the original star force your goal was to destroy cleopatra in one of the later levels (or the infinity levels if you suck) which would prevent gordis from returning, the opening story there in 2 I guess is assuming you did that in the orignial.

You don't destroy "her", you just shoot an icon and it gives you a message.
But that doesn't end the game. To beat the game you have to reach level Omega and beat the boss "O" and there you'll get the ending. After that message it just keeps repeating infinity levels.
Super Star Force has a bunch of dialogue in game when characters talk to you (just like Zelda 1 and their 2 lines of text per character), but it's all in Japanese.
But according to the Star Force story, it's Gordess not Gordis.
Thanks Li Wang for the help with that translation though
