Did you have contact with Mark Hartley, Mark Maslowicz or Matt O Driscoll btw? Did you do localisation for Sega in Spain?
Nop, my boss name was Tony Takoushi, and yes, I do some Spanish localisation, but not for Saturn, for Megadrive... such as Story Of Thor, Light Crusader and Soleil/Ragnacenty.... In the Saturn age it did not work for Sega anymore, but I worked in a Spanish Magazine, called Super Juegos... Now I work for a lltle shareware company as game producer.

RETURN FIRE
Very interesting! There was a public release of Return Fire a few months back, and it had a completely different header.
The existing version dates to 1996/10/15, v1.000, and the serial is T-4805H (T-48 is the third party code for Time Warner Interactive).
Your version dates to 1997/02/12, same version #, and the serial is T-25410H - T-254 belongs to GT Interactive I believe.
However your version also says T-97 which is the third party code for Midway. I believe this is because GT Interactive published Midway games in Europe. However, these games were then marked as T-254. If I had to guess, I say your copy is a PAL optimized, complete version. (the current existing copy is USA)

COMMAND AND CONQUER
This one is 3 weeks earlier then the PAL retail, and the version # is 0.880 versus the 1.000 of the retail game. The T-7028H-XX code makes me think that this was the master copy before they included the multi language FMVs (the -xx suffix is a regional flag, ex. -50 is general PAL, -18 is german, -09 is french, C&C was released in those three languages).
Does this version have FMVs? I recall that the Saturn version simple used the same video files as the PC one, so reediting the movies should've been a quick and easy job for the game makers.

Interesting, this one looks like the japanese ntsc retail version, except that its actually a later version. Japanese retail is v1.002 1996/09/10, while your version is v1.003 1996/10/08. However, it is entirely possible that the v1.003 version saw a retail release as well, often games get multiple revisions, fixing critical bugs. An extreme example would be Soukyugurentai, which exhibited heavy crashing bugs in the first (v1.003) release, which were doctored in a later revision (v2.000). In such a case, it's possible that a retail version matching your copy of Mighty Hits may exist, but it's not found and documented as of yet.
But it's also possible that such a revision never took place... Can you tell us what kind of disc this game is on? Original, pressed retail Saturn discs have a code number in the inner circle of the disc, which list serial code and often revisions as well. I doubt this applies to your copy, but it can never hurt to check.

I'm guessing that your copy may be a work-in-progress localization.

FINAL SET
No serial nor Third Party code (the final game had T-177, Ubi Soft), and the date is more then a half year behind the final release. The version number can rarely be trusted but it's possible that the game was completed much earlier then the retail release, but was hanging around unreleased till they found a publisher. But this is pure speculation on my end, the game may be highly incomplete for all I know.

Your version is 2 months before the actual PAL retail version, also, a few weeks before the japanese and USA release. Since your copy is set to Japanese/USA region and is titled Decathlete, it's likely earlier then any console version. It is, however, a month later then the Arcade original version.

For the ones with dummy header, it's possible to check the file dates for comparison with the final versions - the extended/full export in SRP can extract those values. It could give us an approximate at the very least.
